Electrical and mechanical equipment

The existing buying list includes new and used breakers, switchgear, light fixtures, transformers, bus duct, cable, wooden spools, motors, meters and condensers. Hydraulics, heat exchangers, chillers and blowers are also listed. A nameplate photo often communicates more than a general description: include the manufacturer, model and rating when visible.

Pumps, turbines and valves

Specialty inquiries include Nash vacuum pumps in SC and CL sizes, single-stage and multistage centrifugal split-case pumps, and Elliott, Terry and Coppus steam turbines. The buying list also includes pipeline valves, Fisher control valves, fittings, flanges, elbows, tees and blinds. See the individual equipment pages for useful details to include.

Scrap, surplus and larger asset groups

Industrial scrap metal, surplus materials, individual machines, whole plants, laydown areas and boneyards can be discussed together. For a mixed lot, share an overview and separate photographs of the most significant items. Include approximate quantities and any inventory you already have; an exact count is not required for an initial conversation.

Carbide scrap and tooling

Carbide scrap is also purchased. Send Nick photos of the material or tooling, approximate quantity or weight, condition and location. See the carbide buying guide in the equipment resources for what to include. Material identification, pricing and pickup arrangements are confirmed directly.
